![]() Greenbrier County WV Voting Info:Here’s key information for the West Virginia November 3, 2026, midterm election: Make sure you're registered to vote:If you’re a new voter, register online with the WV Secretary of State or go to your county courthouse to register. The voter registration deadline is October 13, 2026.
Returning voters should confirm their registration and polling location, especially if they’ve moved or haven’t voted recently.
WV Photo Voter ID Requirement:The SAVE Act has not passed at the federal level, but in 2025, the WV Legislature passed HB 3016, which requires photo identification to be shown when voting. This new requirement eliminates all forms of non-photo identification from being used as voter identification (with some exceptions for first-time voters).
The following forms of photo ID are acceptable to use at the polls (from the Secretary of State’s website):
Decide how you prefer to vote – you have options:Vote early in person from October 21 - 31, Mon. - Fri. 8 am - 4:30 pm, and Sat. 9 am - 5 pm at either of these locations in Greenbrier County:
OR Vote by mail with an absentee ballot. Check if you qualify for absentee voting. The deadline to request an absentee ballot is October 28, 2026.
