Blue Skies Ahead offers voters free rides to the polls

Blue Skies Ahead is offering free rides to and from the polls for anyone residing in Greenbrier County from now through Election Day, Nov. 3.

“Blue Skies Ahead was formed to help voters get out and vote,” said Diane Browning, Blue Skies Ahead Committee Chair. “Providing rides for folks who otherwise could not get to the polls is a service we are so happy to offer.”

Anyone who needs transportation to and from the polls, regardless of political affiliation, is encouraged to request a ride so they can exercise their right to vote, Browning said. Volunteers from across the county are offering to drive their neighbors to the polls to reduce the barriers to voting and make sure that everyone who wants to is able to get out for early voting or on Election Day.

To schedule a ride, call Courtney at 304-646-7637 or email info@blueskiesaheadwv.com. Blue Skies Ahead is the political action committee of the Greenbrier County Democratic Women’s Club.
